AI Generated Container Home Art

Container home artwork our design team made with the AI tool Midjourney — container cities, cliff houses and sci-fi interiors — plus the prompts we used.

Our design team recently had the opportunity to play around with the AI art design tool Midjourney. This tool is similar to the popular DALL·E 2 AI art generation tool. It’s currently in open beta and you can sign up for a standard account for around $10 USD a month.

The AI simply needs your text input for it then to create the artwork. You can then ask for more results, variations of a particular result, or upsize the images to have more detail. Our team used text like the following for the results below:

  • A container house pictured on a cliff next to the ocean. Highly detailed, photorealistic, 4k. Bright dusk lighting.
  • A modern container house in the middle of the Savanna. Highly detailed, photo realistic, 4k. cinematic lighting.
  • A modern container home, Isaac Asimov, science fiction, octane render, high definition
  • A modern container home interior, Isaac Asimov, science fiction, octane render, high definition, realistic, 16:9
  • A modern container home interior kitchen, Zaha Hadid Architects, octane render, high definition, realistic, 16:9 image size
  • A seaside resort of container homes, cinematic, dreamy, ornate, blue, dramatic lighting, a whale in the water, bamboo reeds on the edge, —ar 16:9

The end results were quite stunning and it’s exciting to see where this technology will lead to. We believe this will be a great tool for when designers get stuck on ideas, developing out a general theme and shape of a building. Perhaps AI generation will take the lead from video game creation, and you will be able to input your parameters and have a fully outputted construction plan made, meeting all your requirements.
