Getting a home from China to Australia
Each expandable home ships from Shenzhen in a 40' high-cube container, and two homes fit in one container. We recommend budgeting around USD $1,000–$2,500 for shipping to your nearest port — this does not include customs charges and import taxes.
You must hire a customs broker in your country, who should also help with logistics from the port to your site.

- Port Botany Sydney, NSW
- Port of Melbourne Melbourne, VIC
- Fremantle Port Perth, WA

Councils and permits
It's essential to engage with your local council to obtain all the necessary planning and building permits. Our guidance in this area is limited, but we can provide general advice to help your project comply with local regulations. Each local page links to its state's planning portal.
